WDN/Northside Easter Invitational set
Four baseball and 12 softball games on tap
A handful of local schools will be participating in the first Washington Daily News/Northside Easter Invitational.
The baseball and softball tournaments will be held Friday and Saturday at Northside High School. There will be two baseball games each day, along with six softball contests per day.
Four baseball teams, including Northside and Southside, and eight softball teams, including Washington, Northside and Southside, will participate in the tournament.
Admission is $5 per day. However, if you leave, you must purchase another ticket to re-enter.
A concession stand “with the works,” according to Boyd, will be open during the tournament. Coolers will not be permitted.
