WILLIAMSTON GIRLS AND PLYMOUTH BOYS WIN SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

WILLIAMSTON GIRLS AND PLYMOUTH BOYS WIN SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The unbeaten and top-ranked Williamston Tigers (27-0) won the NCHSAA Class 1-A East girls sectional championship with a 62-51 win over Weldon.
Williamston will play in the regional tournament Wednesday at J.H. Rose High School.

The Plymouth Vikings (18-2) earned a NCHSAA Class 1-A East boys sectional championship with a 101-96 nod over second-ranked North Edgecombe.
Plymouth will play in the regional tournament Thursday at ECU's Minges Coliseum.

Opponents and game times will be announced this weekend.
